Guido Karp is the most successful music photographer in the world. Karp was born in Mayen in der Eifel, or as he says, “in the holy grail of rock ‘n’ roll,“, and lives in his adopted home of California. He has been the photographer for more than 1000 music CDs and DVDs, including milestones such as “Elton John – Candle in the Wind” (top-selling music CD of all time) und “Robbie Williams – Live at the Albert” (top-selling music DVD of all time).

Karp works up to 250 concerts per year, some of which are worldwide exclusive, like tours by AC/DC, Robbie Williams, Depeche Mode, Tina Turner, Genesis, John Farnham, Michael Jackson, Tokio Hotel, Bon Jovi, the Flippers, HIM, Backstreet Boys, Dire Straits und Rammstein – the list goes on and on.

Guido Karp has been the lead photographer of the internationally most successful before and after show, “Princess for one day” (P41D) since 2002, and he is a regular tutorial guest at the “Photokina,” ther world’s leading trade fair for photo and video. The pro workshops that he gives in the US and Europe are so popular that they are fully booked months in advance.
